When are you available?
I offer weekday appointments Tuesday through Thursday during standard Central Time business hours.
I am also available for limited appointments on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
How long is a typical session?
Our first session together will be 60 minutes, so I can learn as much as possible about your goals, challenges, and health history.
All other appointments are 45 – 50 minutes long.
How do I make an appointment?
Please complete my contact form at the bottom of this page or email me at jennifer@allisbecoming.com.
What is your cancellation policy?
Things come up, and schedules change — I get it! I will gladly reschedule your session free of charge if you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled time.
Where do you meet with clients?
I meet with most of my 1:1 clients via Zoom. This provides the convenience of meeting wherever it may be easiest for you while also allowing me to connect with people across the United States. I also happily meet clients in person in the Chicagoland area.
Group programs take place both in-person and online.
Do you work exclusively with women?
While my client base is predominantly female, I have had several wonderful male clients and am open to working with anyone regardless of gender identity.
What is a Health Coach?
A Health Coach is a knowledgeable accountability partner who empowers you to achieve your wellness goals.
We guide long-term behavior change by helping you overcome challenges, build your strengths, and align your values with your actions. We provide unconditional support and make the process of becoming your healthiest self fun, enjoyable, and enlightening.
As your Health Coach I will help you approach change holistically, recognizing that every aspect of our wonderful, messy lives affects the others.
How does a health coach differ from a nutritionist, dietician, or physical trainer?
Health coaches consider the whole person and all aspects of nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and self-care. We do not prescribe diet or fitness plans.
Health coaches meet you wherever you are in your journey. We identify additive behaviors to help you bridge the gap between your health-related desires and outcomes.
With a Health Coach, you can say goodbye to restrictive diets and unappealing workout regimens, and hello to an intuitive approach to nourishing body and soul.
Who can benefit from health coaching?
Health coaching is for anyone seeking a powerful alliance to help inspire, motivate, and maintain change.
You may desire weight loss, increased energy, improved dietary habits, or any number of wellness-related goals. Additonally, you could be in excellent health, managing a chronic condition, or anywhere in between.
Health coaching is tailored specifically to each individual – that’s what makes it so effective.
What happens during a free exploratory call?
The free exploratory call, generally 20 to 30 minutes long, gives us a chance to get to know one another and explore the possibility of working together.
I’ll learn more about your journey and goals and explain how my programs and sessions work. I’ll also share a little bit about myself and answer any questions that you may have.
What can I expect during a session?
We’ll discuss your recent successes, assess challenges, and explore solutions during each session – all in a judgment-free environment.
Our sessions will be primarily directed by you. I’ll share relatable strategies and information related to your nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and self-care each time we meet.
No topic is off-limits during our time together.
At the close of each session, you’ll depart with between one and three achievable action steps for the weeks ahead.
When can I expect results?
Your results depend on your individual motivation, readiness, and goals. We’ll discuss your personal timeline and expectations and create a plan that enables long-term, sustainable change.
How would you describe yourself as a coach?
As a coach, I’m warm, nonjudgmental, and insightful. I’m also unflappable – very little surprises me.
I celebrate individuality and thrive on helping clients design their own blueprint for living a healthful life in mind, body, and spirit.
The process of becoming should be fun! I strive to make each coaching session enjoyable and productive.
Are you certified?
Absolutely. I studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and subsequently earned the NBC-HWC certification from the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching in partnership with the National Board of Medical Examiners.
I am also certified by both the International Association for Health Coaches and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
In short, I am an expert in behavior change and trained specifically to guide you on your wellness journey and empower you to sustain a healthy lifestyle.
Why "All is Becoming"?
The name of my business comes from the Ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus who said, “There is no being, all is becoming.” This quote first spoke to me many years ago when I was at a crossroads in my life.
It helped me realize that we’re all on a continuous life journey and that even the most challenging times are temporary. They’re also opportunities for us to build and evolve.
I believe that health and wellness are the underpinning of our ability to become the fullest version of ourselves. My mission is to empower you along the way.
